uber38 is a brand new unisex hair and beauty salon, conveniently situated on North Hill in Plymouth, walking distance from “just about” anywhere but with the advantage of very close public parking for those wishing to save their footwear.

Hair and beauty is available for men and women of all ages, appointments or walk-ins are welcome at all times, well, preferably during their opening hours.

There are so many events that call for a cake – christenings, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries…..and it’s not an occasion without a cake! Whatever you are celebrating Ice and a Slice Cakes can make a unique cake for you.

St Mellion Dental Practice provides professional family dental care in a beautiful rural location.

The practice was first established in Callington in the 1930’s. We relocated to Briston Orchard, St Mellion in March 2000.

St Mellion Dental Clinic is a small site built using WordPress and makes use of the Contact Form 7 plugin.

I always believed our website to be quite good and was fairly happy with it, we got to the stage however where we needed a content management system that we could look after ourselves to keep up with the constant changes of our business. A partner organisation of ours had gone through a similar transition and recommended Retro Edge Web Design without any hesitation.

Dealing with Paul was a pleasure from the outset, nothing is too much trouble for him, he easily brings your ideas to life on the page and where you’re stuck for those ideas his design skills make you realise that the webpage you are moving away from really wasn’t as good as you thought it was!

They offer flexible and professional training at reasonable prices. They also access Government funding to provide free or reduced cost training whenever possible, and can help whether you are currently in employment, or are seeking work.

Project Overview

HealthTec South West is an innovative health and social care resource and education centre based in Plymouth in the South West of England providing simulated environments for the delivery of interactive education and training.

The new HealthTec site replaces the old static html site with a custom built WordPress CMS. This benefits HealthTec as they will now be able to control their own sites content with the facility to change page content and add there own photos and news articles.

The Meeting Rooms South West website was designed to showcase the meeting room and conference facilities available at the Aspira Centre. The Aspira Centre has become the venue of choice for many south west businesses offering the perfect location for meetings, conferences, training and corporate events.

Project Overview

Clive Sleeman Photography is a WordPress web site making use of the WP-ecommerce plugin.

Clive became a professional digital photographer in 2008, due to his love of Cornwall and the South West. He concentrates his efforts on inspirational coastal scenes, landscapes, wildlife and all things dramatic in the counties, but his real passion is artistic photography. He also enjoys working and taking photos of pets and children, spending time with the subjects to capture natural, rather than posed, images.

The initial project brief entailed not only creating a site that could showcase Clive’s work but one that would allow his many customers the chance to purchase photography direct from the site. When designing the site I have tried to keep the focus on the photography, keeping the photos large wherever possible, but not so large they cause the site to load slowly and hinder the user experience.
