Tamerton Wrought Iron Works is a Plymouth based company founded in 1966 producing a range of products from gates and railings, balustrading, balconies, staircases, security grilles and structural steel.

Although the company had been online for some years their web site was a very basic static one page site with very out of date content. We were hired to design a brand new dynamic web site that would showcase the skill and craftmanship of the Tamerton Wrought Iron product.

We designed the new site from scratch using a number of techniques including; photographs from previous work projects, a simple menu structure, a short Flash animation on the home page as well as a minamalistic look throughout. The aim was to draw customers attention to the photos and the Tamerton craftmanship as opposed to the actual web design.

This site is designed using Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop; is coded in XHTML 1.0 and CSS, and adheres to W3C standards.
